Kenny’s Pest Control offers service on a quarterly basis, with an initial treatment that includes inside, and outside service. Once initial service is complete, we will continue to service the property with a quarterly perimeter outside treatment. If there are any problems, we will come back as needed within the quarter at no cost to the customer.
Odorous House Ant
Most common structure invading ant in this area. When crushed between your fingers, you may notice an odor similar to rotten coconuts.
Spiders
There are many varieties in the Knoxville area, but the most common we find regularly in and around the home is the wolf spider.
Pantry Pests
There are several varieties of insects found in food storage areas. These include: Indian meal moths, cigarette beetles, and rice weevils.
Carpenter Bees
A destructive insect that bore almost ½ inch holes and develop long galleries where they lay their eggs. This begins in the early spring. As the larvae develop woodpeckers will shred the wood for what they consider a delicacy. This becomes not only a visual eyesore but over time can cause some structures to be unsound.
Mosquitoes
Several are disease carrying and have been found in the Knoxville area over the years. We minimize the population through our monthly yard service.
Rodents
Certain times of the year when it becomes hot and dry or cold going into the winter months, rodents will invade homes for food and shelter.
